Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Finally got round to getting one of those Acewell speedos.

they're a nice bit of kit actually, the place i got it from is 5mins from work but advertise on ebay (bandit mania i think they are on ebay). they have them all in stock to look at and play with.

I ended up with an Acewell 3195 which has speedo (included magnet and reed switch, magnet is nice as its a bolt type so just needs something tapping to fit it), rev counter with adjusted shift indicator, warning lights, temperature with supplied temp sensor plus a few other bits.

all for £152.75.

They're shock proof, waterproof, vibration resistant and incrediably small and light. easy to mount as they have 2 built in studs on the back. also comes with loom and plugs etc.

lets see if it does the business now!

Can you take another pic withsomething we'd all recognise (can of beer) next to the display so we can get an idea how big the display is? Or can you post the dimensions?

Hi,
It fits a motorbike, so I guess it's fairly small...

Cheers,
Gavin :)

I have a 2853 in my kit, well I did before I stripped her.

It was very good but a little small and did suffer in bright sun light (even with a hood over it).

Would I use another one? Yes, definately. The only problem I had was getting the fuel gauge to work with the Mini Van tank sender, never really got it anywhere near to be honest.

I used it mainly because it could be used to make the car legal (all the required lights and odometer etc.) but I did supliment it with a big rev counter and a dual water / oil temp gauge as you can't see temps and speed at the same time.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...
