Ive changed my turbo over for one im sure is ok after the last one was smoking badly. Is it possible that the last turbo was that far gone that there is oil in the exhaust causing it to smoke still? Smoking is less now but still there and it seems to chuff out a bit when you go down hill??? There was a fair bit of oil on one side of the inlet manifold when i took the old turbo off.

Hi. had the other turbo on my engine before and was not to bad. then had the engine rebuilt and put the other turbo on which was fine for a couple of weeks although it seemed a bit more laggy and not as powerfull. and then thats when it started all the smoke

Hi,
Yes it's possible there's still alot of oil in the exhaust.
Which side of the inlet was all the oil in?
Could you see any oil coming out of the turbo you took off?
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Hi. think the oil was in the left had side as you look at it on the car. Nothing obvious looking at the turbo although i didnt strip it down

Hi,
Have you got the engine breathers connected to the carb?
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Hi,
That's that idea out the window :(
I'd suggests running it for a while to see if it will now clear up.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

do you run an intercooler? if so that could have trapped a fair amount of oil.
