Personally i'd buy one, prob one of the best tools in my garage and you WILL use it again, i use a folding clarke one from machine mart rated to about 2 tonnes. |

Buying a crane is always a good idea- lumping around the engines is not a fun or easy thing to do without one!

A sturdy bit of rope tied up around solid points does it as well mate. Always feel it's a bit dodgy lifting a whole lump out with those, but that's just my personal preference! There is no sense crying over every mistake- you just keep on trying til you run out of cake. |

There is a roll pin in the gear linkaged that you will need to bash out with a punch.. IIRC the best gear to put it in for easy access is reverse!

Both a Mini and a Metro manual are useful investments if you are planning to build a Mini Turbo.

maybe worth a center oil pickup if you are going to throw it around, but that is a big if.
