I have been browsing ebay, and I know 1275's go for silly money sometimes from these people. But how can a basic service and a coat of paint add 150 quid value to a 998 engine?

Oh the paint makes all the difference. I sell stuff on ebay all the time. If you take 10 Minutes to clean something up, paint and present it the right way youll double your money!

A complete running engine which is unleaded for 150. Why not? The heads go for 70 on Ebay as well...

Im getting really pissed off with the prices that mini bits go for on ebay especially shiny things and clear lights. A set of clear rear lenses went for £15!! Thats stupid. you can get them new cheaper. People, especially some mini enthusiasts will pay ridiculous amounts for mini parts.

I reckon theres a market for blinging up crap and putting it on ebay.lol.
