Hi Everyone

Just about to sort a head for my new project! Planning on running high boost on the cheap (cheap ish!!).

Can I use a MG Metro (non-turbo head) the reason being the MG Metro inlets are 35.5 .

I would use new N/A vaulve guides and valves for the inlet.

New turbo valve guides and turbo sodium valves for the exhaust.

Would this make a big diffrence going from 33.3 inlet to 35.5 inlet.

Has anyone done this? Good idea *smiley* or not? *frown*

Hi,
Just bang some stainless race valves in and put it on. Get the compression correct by using the right pistons, then machine the chamber out if you still need more.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

i'd use it as is apart from getting the compression ratio right. std valves are good bits of kit *smiley*

dont bother with the turbo guides.

What about fitting rimflow valves? That's what I had planned.

There is no sense crying over every mistake- you just keep on trying til you run out of cake.

Hi,
I'm fairly sure I read on here that Rim Flows aren't good on a turbo motor

I think Jukka uses Rimflows with no problems on 16psi or so.

I use rimflows on the inlets, I managed to bend a couple of rimflow exhaust valves (from other problems...*blush*)

Ive got the minispares stainless race valves in the exhausts now, had no problems and they've been on there 2 years!

Must add, im sure rimflows would be fine on the exhausts aswell as the inlets, but the minispares valves looked much better quality!
