I believe Sprocket is making his little point as he made a post directed at myself in a confrontational manner, which I edited to remove as it included swearing which was not necessary.

As far as I am concerned as a moderator of the forum I am not prepared to accept anyone directing conversation in me in that manner, moreso, you would not speak to someone in that way in person, so why is it acceptable to do so over the internet?

Better start moderating the rest of the forum then as there are over 150 topic with swearing and derogatory comments in them.

Yes i took it personaly as did you. My post was deleted fair enough but you left yours. In response to your comment i explained my reasoning but you deleted the whole thing, not just the phrase of emphasis.

yeah dont leave minisprocket! i used to get loads of stick from people on here, but its harmless comments i got, i was still learning, and at the end of the day the majority of people on here are really nice so stay!!

but the deleting posts just because of swearing is a bit strange. there's been lots of swearing befor on this site.

could do with seeing the deleted post to understand fully.

I think it was more about swearing at someone rather than swearing in general. Not that I'm partial here.

sounds a bit like a moderator didnt like a coment aimed at them so used there moderator right to delete a post. not exactly wrong of them but would they have jumped this quick if it was aimed at someone else? if not then Tom should get a slap on the wrist, either way its not the end of the world and no reason to leave

i think on here most mods try to keep the personal slagging matches off the main forum. if they want to do it via PM then fine.

we dont want to loose people but end of the day thats your choice.

you also have to understand that emotion's are hard to get across in word's so you have to take whats written with a pinch of salt unless its a personal attack which is just uncalled for.

if someone has an issue they feel needs expressing strongly at an individual which I assume mini-sprocket did, then a public forum isn't the best place to voice it

a pm would be more appropriate in my opinion (for what its worth)
