mic , a t3 with a stockish low duration cam will start to work at around 1800 rpm . Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM |

IMHO if you run stock boost, you could run standard internals (ie non turbo) with no problems, and for long peroids, with carefull maintenance, however for added security i would still use an intercooler :) the killer from what i have heard is not getting CR right and fuel octane levels, both are crucial or the dreaded detonation occurs.

i think this all comes down to how your going to drive it, ive stuck with the standard SPI gbox (rebuilt) and uprated my diff pin and planet wheels. i think this will be plenty strong enough for me running a max of 10 psi.

I'd be interested to know what BHP is coming out of stock(ish) lumps with the turbo between 7 and 10 psi max boost. Anyone tell me?

my first proper turbo lump was stock ish. only had a rebore to 1293 with ae pistons and a ph2 cam, was running 120 bananas on 10psi and i think the last time i had it rollered it was 135 bananana's and 165 curly's at 15psi. On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:

I can't see the being a problem using standard internals upto 10psi. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
