London.

I brought a Modified carburetter spacer with vaccum adapter.
http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?824c1e5542.jpg

It's alot wider then the standard one.
With my heat shield on, it used to neary hit the back, pic below.

Would i have a problem fitting it when i come to fitting the engne and carb back ?

Thanks :)

Yeah the standard one that u get nearly hits the bulkhead. so i was just thinking would the carb fit with the new spacer i have, as it's thicker, just abit worried it wont fit it :( ive got the proper turbo throttle cable plate :), just spraying it at the minute... ill show it once its done..

you could always use one of the ERA adjustable top steadys and tip the engine forwards a shade with it. I'm just about to sort some stuff out to sell and i have one of them if you want *wink*

josh, pretty sure avonbar do the throttle plates for a fair price.

I can sort you out a new heat shield *wink*
Only 1mm to add to the back of the plenum instead of that one you have. Looks around 4mm thick. I know its only millimetres

i dont bother with them, they crack and split after a while. i used to stick to std rubber ones which lasted a lot longer then i changed to a solid steady.

My experience as well. Rubber forever! No Nic, not that way!

The poly bushes are good in certain applications, the engine steady is not one of those.
