well in reflection of another year soon to add to my count, i was flicking through some old photos, when i happened accross some mini related items, I cant believe my first recolection of messing with minis was at the age of four !! I will appologise now the photos 8nt best, but i had to take photos of photos ?

WHAT A SEXY LIL B****RD I WAS !!!! here we are stood by my dad sporting his 80's porn tash ! this was back in the days of the Journal Autocross. 1984 to be precise !

As time went by my old man had to give up the sport and i recall the day his shell went to the crusher. all the running gear went into this car, which was my first memory of working on a mini. the reg was later sold to Mcnicolas construction, and the car itself ended up with a west end nasty peice of work, this car is now red with a black roof and lives in Whickam *wink*

here i am again looking trick in me old mans vomit puke GT/clubman

1997 and my first restoration job ! i am gutted to learn this car has been exported to Norway, i would love to get it back, a bit attached to it. however financial difficulties in 2003 meant she had to go :(

NOTE THE WHEEL CAME FROM ME DADS BLACK MINI !

Mark may recall follwing this mini around the silverlink roundabout when i had the back wheel lifted :)

Well time moved on slowly and my dad said i had to get my own F**KING insurance so i bought a 1000cc mini mayfair auto for 100 which had been taken off an old man (could keep up with payments) i pulled her to bits and resprayed her in Peugeot red put a manual 998 in and chavd her up a touch (i was only 18) and here she is. the car was later sold to a 56 year old woman who wrote it off 2 weeks later !! the car has been revuilt by a local club member and still looks sweet !

Well more time past and 1999 - 2004 i started racing, i bought this purpose built Peacocks metro rally x car for £1000 complete with 2 dog boxes and 5 engines ! split 45's compomotive wheels and many other spares !!!! bargain ! note the race number *wink*

ESSO rep stood over me asking questions !!! i was busy changing intermediate slicks for collway rally plus psml

nope, some guy who i know checked summit at the dvla and said it went to norway :( Find it quick !!!!!
