After my problems with the oil system in my new build(uber low oil pressure when warm and had to re-prime every time i wanted to start it), i went on gut instinct and put it all down to the oil pump gasket, thinking that this had gone causing all these problems...so today was strip-down time took an hour from fully built in the car to oil pump off (well pleased at the speed) but could not beleive what i saw

?? the thieving little twats (at the machine shop) not only fitted the pump without a gasket (that i supplied) but they have fitted what appears to be a standard pump? well past its pumping ability-by date atleast, when i supplied a 300mile old avonbar pump well p'd off.
