Just got home from picking up my lovely new car.

Dead chuffed with it apart from a few little niggles.

Cant believe I didnt buy one sooner. Dont see myself driving anything else for a while! Much quicker than I thought it would be. I cant imagine how fast the 'quick' ones must be!

Anyways, here's the pics. It's just a little S1, with a few tasteful mods.

Excellent. That is almost exactly the same as my old one, except mine had a red roof. I am beginning to miss it in the summer months (but I'm glad it went before the winter)

One of the best cars I have owned. Don't worry about any niggles they are never niggle free, but who cares.

Everyone loves the elise, I can't ever remember seeing a silver one either.

A little aside, aparently the hard top screws the airodynamics up, I can't remember where i read it but IIRC the hard top make 40 lbs more lift over the rear wheels at motorway speeds.

Wow. How much is a car like this? Nice :)

The Rallye is Nicky's. (We had 2, but I sold mine to buy the Elise)

I paid £7500, which I think is OK, but I think it needs new rear shocks, so perhaps not a bargain.

This is my new motor basically a lotus but faster and I agree I wish I had got one sooner. So much fun to drive.

the elise is an awesome car, never had chance to push on in one as a driver, but had a passenger ride, which makes you realise just how nimble and balanced they are

my mates has got a sport 135 s2 with a few little tweeks

Defo good fun, well balanced. Mine is lovely since I have put slightly wide front wheel and sticky toyo888 tyres on. VXR turbo and soon have a larini exhaust so should be well over 200bananas brakes do leave a little to be improved on I feel. set of grooved discs and mintex pads should do the trick
