Working up the BHP ladder.

Any suggestions on which pressure plate to use on my turbo build? Spec listed below:

1380cc, Avonbar stage 4 turbo head, T3 running 16psi of boost, Phase 2 turbo cam, ultra light flywheel, lightened steel back plate.

Any ideas?

Thanks

you're going to need a grey or a double grey buddy.

What plate are you using?

i'd say definately a grey, and make sure you set it up properly so the spring sits flat by maching the backplate lugs etc. after the advice from dave it made mine and keans a lot better.

I'd say you'll be very close, if not over the limit of a Grey. If you're lucky it'll cope, if not you'll have to go to a double Grey like i've had to do. Run the AP Rally/Race plate, you'll not need the paddle.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

dont forget to remove 1.6 mm of the backplate 3 lugs as turbo dave advised us all some time back

gives a lot more clamping load
