I had an email from Simon today saying having family problems and he is gonna check what is ahppening tomorrow. As it happens I am not at work so I will be taking a trip there if they have not yet been posted.

MAKE THE TRIP! .......& sort it for YOU!

I would just go and pick them up, finished or not, and tell him just what I think about his behaviour. Then if not finished, give them to someone else that will sort it for you and not only piss you off.

Eek! I guess I might be placing a few orders elsewhere then. Fair enough if he's busy he's busy and I guess he's making an effort to rectify things but it's still a stuff around.

No One answering the phones. So do I make the 100mile trip to go get my stuff??? They may be in the post already.

I would put a bet on them NOT being in the post after reading this post....

Thats the thing, if he took some advice or notice of what people said, he would be just as busy, if not busier as most people would be prepared to wait once given a realistic date for completion.

Exactly what I have told simon in my emails. Just tell people straight so everyone knows where they stand.

Well I finally managed to get though to Simon. He tells me he has posted them this morning, and they will be here tomorrow but I'm sure if you read back through the thread you will find me posting something very similar about 2 weeks ago. So I will let you know what happens tomorrow.

Yep, I would rether he had said no they are here. I could have picked them up today.

He wouldn't want you to do that though, they're probaby not actually ready yet never mind posted!

Simon seems to have a lot of family troubles - its the third time I've heard of people being given that 'reason' for delays and at quite widespread intervals (last time 6 months ago).

I chased him for ages for some drivestrap bolts for a flywheel. When they eventually arrived (after being in the post 4 times!) they were secondhand. By then I'd lost the will to contact him and complain.

I wouldn't mind but he has my rods, and pistons. if I had the rods, I would have ordered some new pistons and done it myself buy now and just sold the other when they arrived.

Driving me bloody mad. I am pretty sure your right I bet they haven't even started on them yet. I will defo take a trip there this weekend if they have not arrived no matter what he says. I bet they are on the shelf there.

Anyone else fancy invading the place at the weekend lol

I we have a bridgeport at work that will be ideal for machining the slot in the pistons. Like I say I will be there at the weekend if they don't arrive.

But the up side is I have been looking into a supercharger setup possiblity, rotrex!!!

About the size of an alternator, belt driven turbo basically. I think it would give a lovley smooth power delivery.

All the depends how much the charger unit costs and size of lube system that apparent has to be used with it. Waiting for a reply from TTS

Rotrex's do not have smooth power delivery. Very smilar to a turbo. Great little chargers though.

Disapointed with Morspeed, this thread isnt good at all.
