i have 2 types of threadlock here that i'll put my galley plugs in with i have red goo in a tube made by locktight & a blue stick of thead locking compound! (looks like lipbalm)

If the Red Loctite is 542 Loctite that is a hydralic sealant so i would say that would be better for sealaing the threads on gallery bungs. The Blue is usually just a thread locker to stop it from coming undone, not actually sealing it.

Warming Locktite up to 300-350 Degrees C will break the bond and allow easy removal

well i hope the galley plugs wont have to come out for a good while so.......... i'm having thoughts to use the red 542 being the hydrolic sealent, oil pressure is all in these areas aint it! SKYLINES ARE LIKE CLITS, EVERY FLANGE SEEMS TO HAVE ONE: see this sticker on my silvia
