sorry if this been covered before, i done a search but could find anything.

as the T3 is the only one that fits without mods i.e. mounting plate for T25 etc does that mean that ANY turbo can be made to fit if its only a mounting plate that needs knocking up? i read somewhere that the turbos off an evo are cheap(er) than a metro one. whether they be too big or whatever may be a different story tho!

so yea, that sound simple enuf?

hi mate, any turbo can be fitted with a bespoke manifold but as far as adaption goes i would say most can be fitted but maybe not the best in terms of performance vs custom manifold running the same turbo

also arnt the evo turbo's like big? =

fair point! mate at work has one (evo), im sure his boost is quite low. just playing with ideas

You can fit a T2 or T25 to thwe metro manifold with an adaptor plate. Do a search this may even have a How To....
As Brett says, just because you can bolt it on doesn't mean it'll be any good.
A Turbo has to be "geared" to the engine, things like A/R ratios and comp wheels and turbines all need to be right for YOUR engine.

Different brands, and OE fits use all sorts and shapes of flanges.
