the one i have has different connection layout, but when i looked really close it eas marked up , is that one, you may not need to connect all the small wires ,i didn't,

not much help i know but at least i'm thinking,lol.

possibly 16vmini, ive been searching but cant find it

do you have the plug from it? the wires and what car its from may be able to help

is it a honda?

I have no idea Nic, it was an ebay bargain. All I do know its off a Mini Excavator.

The pin on that ones the same as the ones peter1071 was selling, he'll probably know the pinout.

It's not a bargain if you cannot use it due to wiring confusion *wink*

Hi,
TD ... All three are correct according to my alternator book. The last one needs close inspection as the two "pips" on the plug diagram in the corner of the pic may actually be opposite to the lug that secures the plug to the alternator.
I hope that makes sense *surprised*

I wired mine up one the weekend. The same way as the pic dave posted shows, works great.

I've connected mine with 2 small spade connectors at the moment, I'd love to get the proper plug, anyone know where I can get one from?

Working up the BHP ladder.

Out of interest what is the current rating on that Alternator?

Chaps in North Weald built me one on an A127 frame @ 90Amps.

Hi,
There's plenty of different ones with that alternator.
They all look the same but can go from 18A to 45A.
The next body size up does 45A+

Depends on how hard you loading them jimster. Generally not HOT HOT.......more kinda, warmish.
