i have a 1275 A+, i have a bit of a problem at the moment trying to get my speedo cable off, i can get my hand onto it grip quite tightly but i can twist it. i have the radiator out atm to help get to it. i have tryed using rubber gloves, marrigolds and one of thoes rubber band and plastic openers but still cant get it to move Edited by Paul R on 13th Jun, 2007. try a long screwdriver as a chizel from under the car to get it moving ...its painfull but may work

well i havnt try'd using a screwdriver to try and get it moving, the really anoying bit is that the new cable has a really nice grip for it so would be a peice of pi$$ to get off i think. im going to take the driveshaft out to try and get it from there so i can get my hand arround it from a diffrent angle but im not sure it will work :(.
