Hi,
Do a search on here.
I've seen something about a cd, some grease, and a measuring device.
You can't measure CR with the head on *wink*
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Hi,
IIRC smear some grease around the edge of the head chamber, stick your CD ontop, then fill it up with a syringe of water until the water is level with the hole.
The ml of water you put in gives you your chamber CC.
Then you just need bore and stroke, piston dish CC and HG volume, 4cc?
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Hi,
Use the calculator in the link above, posted by moke n andy *wink*
You only need the CC from 1 chamber not all of them added together.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

CR = (Swept volume + Unswept Volume) / Unswept Volume

Swept volume = Engine cc / 4

Unswept = Chamber cc + Piston Dish cc + gasket Volume.

Easy!!

Don't know what you're on about there.

You can calculate the cc of the engine (or 1 cylinder) from the bore diameter and stroke. No need to measure it by filling as it's an easy calc to find the volume of a uniform cylinder.

If you happen to know your engine cc, then divide it by 4 to get the volume of 1 cylinder.

The only reason you fill the head chambers to measure them is because they are not uniform.
