As the title says really. Latest of a series of bad noises.

It is perfect on idle and only happens when under load. The noise is like a grinding, it reminds me of when one of my driveshafts was not sitting in the CV joint properly.

Diff about to implode maybe?

it will cave in sooner rather than later

the slight modded head i did for you gary will have spured the drive train to destruction

more power as you would have wound the boost up

Either way, unless you can identify it the engine needs to be out and inspected.

The last thing you want is saomething lunching its self and doing more damage.

I have'nt had it back on the rollers yet, as I've had too many problems since. So the boost is still at 10psi. I haven't really driven it much since the head and it's been running extra rich to be on the safe side, so the power is probably less than it has been previously.

Hi,
Can you give some more details?
Does the noise change when cornering?
Does it make the noise in all the gears?
What was done to drops and box before it went in?
Etc....
Cheers,
Gavin :)

I have driven it again this morning and it only seems to do it when pulling away at low revs 1100-1700rpm.

Not sure if it's grinding or more of a vibration.

Hi,
Is the clutch fully out when you get the vibration/noise?
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

lol Vegard!

Surely it's better to diagnose/isolate the problem first? It might just be a clutch or CV problem?
