alright folks, just found your site after bein told about it by a friend. im currently installin a turbo engine into my midas kit car and havin difficuties gettin it to run right, the spec is,
1275 block
reground crank
piper phase 2 cam and new oil pump
duplex timin gear
low comp head with standard valves and rockers
standard dizzy
standard reg, pump and 10mm return
standard turbo, plenum, carb but uprated spring and wot i think is actuator
set the timin to 7deg as book says, it starts fine and revs fine but when you try to hold the revs at 3000 - 3500rpm they die away and you need to pick at the trottel to bring them back up. only vacum (-10psi) is showin at this engine speed but turbo is spinni fine with no smoke.

when you try to drive the revs just drop when you lift fully off the clutch and stalls or if your quick you can pick away at the revs to keep it runnin.

im thinkin it mite not be gettin enough fuel but turned up the mixer til co's werwe at 6.5 the other nite and still the same and im yet to see the wastegate/actuator movin but both are free and movin even if it does take a bit of efford for the actuator.

hope ive explaned it clearly enough and any help would be greatly recived, cheers

Check inlet manifold & carb gaskets for air getting in.
