Hi Guys,

Been around Minis for a while, now planning a Turbo build.
Currently have an NA 1132 producing 90hp (flywheel) and 50 at the treads.

Looking for a Metro Turbo carb and intake right now (posted in wanted)

You guys have some awesome mini's... cant wait to join the boosted club *happy*

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Welcome.

A lot of transmission losses there though.

i would expect more like 75ish at the flywheel with 50 at the wheels. although numbers mean nothing, its how it performs *smiley*

On TM bhp is banana's and torque is curly wurlys *smiley*

Yeah, thats true... and it definately moves *wink*
It definately has 90hp at the crank ... Graham Russell built it and believe me its got the power.

I had over 74ft/lb of torque first time and that was when it only had 78hp at the crank.

So your saying you guys are not into HP and Torque figures? or you saying you only care about HP at the treads?

The numbers very that much we tend to go on performance as an indicator.

Everyone does say what power they're running and it is interesting just when you start pulling big numbers there can be 30-40bhp difference between rolling roads!

Yeah tell me about it.
We had a dyno day here (rolling road) and there was a huge difference in HP among the top 3 (compared to another dyno)

Thats why we talk crank hp usually ... its alot closer and you cant make extra power via diff ratio, tyre pressure, etc... but its still not really comparable I guess.

So we should say how powerful is my mini:
1. I beat no-one
2. I beat Mitsubishi magnas
3. I beat Ford Falcons (not sure if you have em)
4. I beat Japanese import twin turbo bling bling cars *smiley*

Its all tongue in cheek boys *wink*

I would be somewhere around 2-3 hehehe
