was having a turbo mini related think on the throne yesterday and i came up with another way to mount the turbo with out cutting up the bulkhead cross member

i was thinkin if you have the exhaust pipes exit horizontal from the head you can put the turbo above the cross member and save cuttin it up
so that means the 2 side pipes would exit at an angle inwards to meet behind the carb and the middle one would probably have to curve under the carb to meet them in the middle

you would still have to put in one of those air boxes meant for double webers but methinks you wont lose as much strength as if you cut the crossmember

sorry but i seem to have lost paint and cant do a quick diagram

BTW i wont be trying this on my car as its already got the bulkhead box cut into it.just thought i d put it past you guys. maybe someone can use it

milamber i dont think it would fit. youd probably have to install one of those boxes they use for webers
