Running like a dog and hardly running. Not really sure what the prob is ,but all the plugs are black. I
If your looking at the engine the two piston on the left are wet with petrol and the other to are dry and black.
Sounds really ruff. Think how depressing once you brought a new engine and you havent really moved out the yard. Changed leads!and plug!

Went once round the block and this is when it started running really ruff.

Anyone one up for some dollar to have a look or is it something silly!

Hi,
Check fuel pressure is correct.
Another common problem is the seals on the choke in the carb ....

have you a spark to the plugs firstley ?

do a compression check

you will have a host of niggles work through these one at a time and be persistent

choke seals where can you get them and do you have to take the carb off??

chokes seals you can get from burlen, and its a hell of a lot easier with the carb off. just take off the whole manifold assembly in one go, only 4 nuts to loosen off a bit.
