The cable guide is usually part of the subframe - might be difficult to get hold of if yours has been removed.

I've got a couple of old standard hand brake quadrants you can have, but I won't be able to get them for a week or two.

Cheers for the offer rob.

I've ordered all new bits from minispares, only do it once i guess! lol!

I do need still need a guide off the subframe if possible, the handbrake lever brackets off a shell, and apparently some sort of guides on the radius arms?

Hoping to fit it all this weekend and i can make bits up but its easier if anyone has any bits?

Cheers
Iain

If you give miniclassics a call in bawtry (near worksop) and speak to john he'll probably let you go down and cut what you need off a scrap shell, can get number if you want. Not sure what the guides on the radius arm are though, sure they just have the quadrants.

Also there is a kad fly-off handbrake on e-bay if you're intersted

Hi,
The guides are the bit on the front edge of the subframe, in the middle. where the cables turn toward the radius arm quadrants.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

thought he said there was something on the radius arm but must not have been listening.

not sure if that bit has been ground off, soon make something up i guess if it has although one chopped off and welded back on would be easier!

Hi,
One the radius arm you've got the quadrant.
Bolted on to the backplate is the spring retainer bracket, which the cable goes through then connects to the drum linkage.
Cheers,
Gavin :)
