it depends, is it the longer version? in that case its a metric one with 1.25 in pitch... Sucker to get the nut for even in Norway where everything is metric.

yes, there is a longer version for lowered cars. That one has metric threads on the end going trough the steering arm.

The longer track rod ends are from a Spitfire/GT6 and are the same thread as a normal Mini rod end.
Don't know anything about longer Tie rods with metric threads.

the longer version sold by minispares do (or did at least) have a metric thread on the part going trough the steering arm. I had troubles getting anything to fit to the thread before investigating it, it was later confirmed by Keith Calver, who is using them, and has worked for minispares earlier.

I seem to remember it was M10x1.25 pitch.

Hi,
It's usually the non genuine ones that have a metric thread, rather than the size of the TRE

Yep I agree with that. OE ones have an imperial thread still.

I thought they were a 10x1.5 thread though not 10x1.25, that really is a bastard size.

it really IS a bastard size. I went to three different companies over here specializing in bolts and nuts, before I got one!

Thats the type I bought.
