London.

Ive asked a company for a price on fitting my minispares X pin diff. he said with all the gasket/ seals, £120. but he said ill need the bearings and shimmies. this true, ? and is that a good price.
I could give it a try, but i really havnt even done stuff on a gearbox before, so i wouldn't want to be messing it up .
Cheers..

Hi,
Always best to put new bearings in unless you know the ones in there are fairly new/ in good condition. You may or may not need the shims depending on how things add up when you install the new diff.

Gavin :)

i charge that for a full rebuild , but you are looking at about 2 hours work max to do this job, but could be done quicker depending if diff is ready built, or the new diff comes aprt easy for a build as some are bloody pains to get the lock pin out.

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.
