Engine not running after 2000/3000 (turbo cutin point)

Hi All,

Just after a little help!!

I have installed a new carb and the engine does not run properly now (sold the old carb) this was one from E-bay so a bit suspect but i am sure its a hif44 after going through the fault diagnostics found on this site i can ensure that all is ok other than pipe 4 (show on diagram on page - http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forum/index.php?p=vt&tid=2103) when ever i block this off it stalls the engine also no preasure at all is here up even untill the point where the engine stops at 2000/3000

Can anyone help me get my mini back on the road?

Check these first and post up the results, please.

What is your fuel pressure at idle?

Have you got the correct gasket between the plenum and carb? (turbo's are different)

Have you looked in the float bowl to see if it's clogged up with muck?

i checked everything and made sure it was ok it turns out that it was the gasket the last thing i checked doh!
