nr coventry

do i still use the oil flinging plate with the best drive kit i have? also do i block the hole in the block thats in the block inlne with the timing case, i presume it feeds oil mist to the timing case

Hi,
Put it in the bin!
Hole in the block is a breather, to stop pressure bulid up in the timing case.

cheers bat, i was'nt sure with it being a rubber belt/oil they dont mix well, my belt drive has a breather on so i was presuming that was the prefered method of pressure release & block the block but...... if i leave it be happy days!

is it worth my time to make aa little arm to stop the belt moving around so much, i've seen a pic somewhere but cant find it

Hi,
If you've got a breather on the belt drive you may as well use it, I don't think you can mave too many :)
Belt won't move, fit and forget :) Although you are supposed to change the belt at service intervals *wink*
