Had a totally amazing weekend. My first ever F1, and I was given the ticket by my very generous friend, Jon - who I will be eternally grateful to! What an awesome event. I never realized just how impressive the races would be live - the noise, the speed, everything! (ok, it was all great except the sunburn..)

Anyway, I tried to take some good pics, relying on manual focus rather than auto thanks to the lovely fences everywhere (the very same fences which make an apperance in far to many of my photos). I deleted about 300 which I really hated, and have had to make do with the rest - plenty are not properly focused, and I'm not happy with the colours.

Nice Photo's I'd love to buy a nice camera, but wouldn't know how to use the thing!

I managed to get my Dad a visit around the pits, as one of my mates is one of the pit crew for honda. Had a good nose around the engine room, gearbox room, computer room and of course the hospitallity.

Got to hold some F1 gears, suprised how thin they where (only about 8-10mm) and made from steel. Really interesting day. Was not allowed to take any photo's though :( only this one.

some good shots there Alex, some of the stands looked a little bare, was it short of spectators?, i remember the Mansell years when it was absolutely crammed.
