hi just after some opinions

i have a set of brand new omega 73.5 cast pistons which i bought with the idea of building a natually aspirated engine,i have now change my mind some what and am thinking of building a 1380 k1100 turbo.

will these pistons be usable? they have a 7cc offset dish but thats not a problem as i can re machine this to what ever is needed.

im not after absolutly mega power, 160-170 bhp will be fine for what i need.

thanks

Hi,
I'm no expert, but I'd have thought they were ideal.
IIRC the BM head has 28cc chambers, so you won't need too much dish in the piston.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

After thinking about it a bit more they should be fine.

ideally the top ring should be further down but as your not running bega boost, plus the timing/fuleing will be tightly controled with an ecu they should be ok.

or you could flog them and put some minispares mega pistons in...
