London.

Made abit of a boo boo.
I was meant to get the drive flange nut off while it was on the car,
So i can get the new boots on either side etc.
Anyway, i tried everything to get it off, but no luck.
Could i cut the nut off?
I have no brakes, so i cant put everything bak together, as the Manual say's to have someone place there foot on the brake While taking the nut off. boo hoo..
Cheers..:)

stoke-on-trent

try a big bar and wedging the wheel studs with a crow bar - thats done the trick for me more than once

DOH! Should read more carefully lol.
As above- wedge using the wheel studs and then a big bar!
Also make sure you are trying to turn it the right way *wink*
Oh and a bit of heat may help- direct a blowtorch onto the nut. May loosen it up- it's worked for me in the past.

There is no sense crying over every mistake- you just keep on trying til you run out of cake.

Hi,
If all else fails, split the nut with a chisel, then get another nut.
Cheers,
Gavin :)
