fuse still intact, but the pump isnt running.. could it have done damage somewhere else? im guessing not but as you can tell im not the best at wiring! |

Is that the pump being wired up backwards, or +ve feed on both sides? Because the second would cause nothing to happen. The first may blow something if there was a flywheel diode, then it may take the fuse out, or burn something out. Tim Rowe

ummm, i guess that this happening could have nothing to do with the pump not working.... oh arse. That means that i could have a oil pressure problem.. minis!!!! could just be the pressure switch?!

just did what Gavin suggested and the fuel pump is in working order.

the pump will only run when cranking i believe if its a proper turbo setup.

mines via a relay - and will cut out in the event of a drop in oil pressure.. i know the pump works now and its a new relay, so i guess i just need to check the oil pressure switch. |
