the water feed is buggung me though as i have a water heated inlet fanimold

my brain hurts after having to re-wire my welder after it shorted!!! :( it works again though :)

just a thought

yep sorry that makes sence too me!!!! cheers josh

i'm a lil worried about the heat frm the turbo melting water pipes or are they stronger than i think, is there any way i could chang the banjo fitting or weld some 1/2" mild steel or stainless tubes on to the fittings i have, i could use a plumbers pipe bender, just curious to how others have overcome this prob if it is one

i used standard water hose, it lasted about 6,000miles till i took the turbo off and the hose fell apart in my hand. given this, i would use silicone hose.

silicone hose is more flexible and can take the heat. after all the oil drain hose is silicone and it right by the turbo.

I used silicone hose on mine, no problems at all. You can get the 2 ply stuff from loads of places, lot on ebay...

As for the actual connections, I got banjos from a hydraulic supplier.... I'll try and get the details and pass them onto you buddy.

i've got banjo's kean & they have a straight pipe attached to them, i'll try to get pics cause i'm not to gr8 at expalining them in txt, it would be a bonus to be able to just jubilee clip some silicone hose on them, save alot of greaf!

i dont live far from the samco factory that makes the straight lengths of silicone hose, not sure of how flexible it is but the do all sizes in str8 lengths, for some reason they make the bends in wales???? WTF!

i'm a bit unsure where to take my feed & return for the turbo, do i juse use t-pieces

First mini turbo to get in the 12's & site perv

Herefordshire

you can get the fittings from pirtek

im using homemade ones on mine that use the normal mini heater hoses-these are flexible enough

My only problem being i burnt through one of my pipes with the heat
Look in my mirage guide for pics of what i did

Hi,
If you're going to use your car in the winter you'll need that water heated manifold *wink*
I too would be interested to know what's the best fo the plumbing too.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Hi I used the std R5 banjos and formed my own out of refrigeration grade copper, silver soldered them on, fits a treat, also made plumbing the heater in after the blower easier!
Hope this helps,
Shane.
