get the minispares re-build kit without diff parts then chuck a 4-pin diff in.

*I think* the only bits you will be missing then will be extra shims etc

anton & anyone else do you really think i should be considering the cross-pin diff?

does that need more thinking to put in than to recon the one i have?

cheers

Hi,
Do a search for when Antons N/A car spat the diff pin out, I'll put money on it you'll put a 4 pin in! *surprised*

Gavin :)

Anton, i've just chked out your previous diff pin woes, holy cack-in-my-pants!!! with less than 100hp it went bang, i understand about the planets elding to the pin etc, i can understand why you keep insisting in a twin pin diff now!!!!!!!

scary stuff, i'm not sure what power/torque my 998 turbo will be putting out when i get it running ok, i'm hoping for around 100hp-ish so i really need to consider one now i reckon!!!

i'm pretty ook back ya know

Its not power that will kill the diff, its torque. A turbo engine will have more torque than a NA engine. I wouldn't consider a cross pin diff, I'd mark it down as a MUST.
