Not really needed, use some insulation tape.

i think he wants to put a new one in the transfer housing, and long as you have something bigger than it to evenly press it in youll be right "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

theres really no need to borrow any thing just tap it in with a hammer as tom sugested. tap not whack! then put some insultaing tape over the ridge on the primary gear lubricate with oil and ease it over. jobs a goodun no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Bloody hell, you aren't trying to hammer a glass nail into a steel joist, all you need to do is gently tap the seal into the casing, go round and round, tap tap tap tap job done.
