Would I be correct in thinking that the thread is 5/8" BP?

Hi,
My cross ref of GTR206 (Rover number) gives me a sensor with M12x1.5
Given that most MPi stuff is metric, it could well be right....

if so i believe its m22 (or m20)

the mpi doesn't have a temperature switch in the rad, the fan is controlled by the ecu*wink*

Yep it's coolant temperature, the sender is on the sandwich plate under the theromosat housing.
