Quaiffe Automatic Torque Biasing LSD..... It took all my willlpower to actually fit it in the gearbox where I won't be able to drool over it until its next apart!

Yes, amazingly minispares actually had something in stock!

Tom, I had to planned to do a little guide to fitting this, but my camera decided the crap itself just after the above piccys.

Basically for those that dont know, its just a case of removing the old diff, taking the crown wheel and bearings (as long as they are decent) and installing on the new unit. Then place it in the diff housing and check preload and set using the shims.

After that, rebuild engine, refit, and go give it seven shades of shite up the test track and be amazed that it actually stays in a straight line for the first time ever!!

also i had to get the die grinder around the diff cover as it fouled on the body of the quaife

and worryingly my pot joints have different gaps from the end covers
