You should power the ignition from the inertia switch as well so that if it trips the engine cuts immediately and you dont keep driving with no pressure and get to a dangerously lean condition as the bowl empties.

Terry But you wouldn't be able to make any boost with no fuel pressure, I guess it would run lean momentarily then die. If you run MS there is a fuelpump output that stops the pump when the engine stops. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |

But you wouldn't be able to make any boost with no fuel pressure, Why not? its the boost pressure, fed from the plenum that pressurises the fuel in the bowl. The fuel regulator just maintains the fuel pressure 4psi above the pressure of the fuel bowl. This ensures that the fuel can get in but does not overwhelm the piddly little float valve. Either way its not a bad thing to insure against a lean condition, there speaks a guy who just rebuilt his engine!! Edited by Turbo Tel on 8th Aug, 2007. website:- http://www.terryhunt.co.uk
