tps, map sensor, vacuum lines, air temp sensor, coolant temp sensor, cam phase sensor.

I'd start by checking the wiring to the sensors.

Cam sensor can cause lack of power and over fueling, basicaly the ECU goes into limp home mode and non sequential.

Best thing to do is get it to a decent auto diagnostics center and have a diagnostics done on it. When I say diagnostics center, i mean somewhere that specialises in engine management systems, not Minisport, Minispeed or P&L Minis.

Try this like to help you find one http://www.atpelectronics.co.uk/

Do not continue to drive it, Get it fixed quick or you will melt the cat, seriously!

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

thanx alot i will check the sensors out and get it on to a diagnostic scanner. how do you get it out of limp mode once you have sorted it or does it do it automatically?

Hi,
It'll should sort itself, but it's always best to get the faults cleared from the ECU.
Then if you get another problem it's obvious what it is.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

it was a fault cam sensor, it never had a fault code on it though had to go through it checking it all and found there was no signal from the cam sensor cheers for all your help!
