ive set mine up exactly the same, and left the thermostat in too, because i didnt know whether the heated inlet works best when the car is hot or cold, and was told it didnt affect it. Previous Engine: 1040cc Morespeed engine, 1275 turbo head T2 Turbo Mirage Manifolds Megajolt

Can i just ask then, do you still put the sound deadening piece behind the heater, does it knock without it? Worried about all that heat! im going to trim all the carpet there to be nowhere neer the box. Previous Engine: 1040cc Morespeed engine, 1275 turbo head T2 Turbo Mirage Manifolds Megajolt

i didnt put this in. i used cable ties to hold the heater in place. and it made a hell of a difference to the cooling of the engine. well worth doing |
