Having some problems getting my RST intercooler to fit without having to plumb IC pipes like spaghetti so i'm after the R5 IC as it has the inlet and outlet on top. Any reasons why this IC should not be used???

The Renault 5 unit is a bit of an arkward one to fit. It's a thick unit, i had real trouble when i tried to fit one. |

There are a couple of aftermarket ones with no silly stat and a thinner core, worth hunting one down. Every day is a school day ...........

I had an R5 one fittde. The only place I could squeeze it in was in the inner wing on the drivers side.. TBH I would go for an IC that fits up front. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

They are only good for about 15psi of boost then they start blowing the caps off! you can get around this by fitting a big jubilee around it, but if you can get a alloy one then that would be better! There are better options though! |

There are better options though! ah thats why I see them already 'strapped' :) Depth is not really an issue where I want to install it (just infront of the wok behind the grille. I like the R5 IC as the pipes are both at the top and routing is easy, the RST on would mean a couple more bends and an awkward route. I'd consider the cossy one but i'm not sure if there will be room above the MPI rad, whats the dimentions of it, and which is best as i see referalls to 2wd and 4wd ones.

The 2wd cooler is not as deep as the 4wd so it will be alot easier to fit in.
