As above, planning on using the alternator as an idler on the supercharger drive, but realy need the belt to run the other side of the pulley, hence it will run backwards.

The rectification sorts it out. Same rules apply for (for instance) home audio gear. |

i thought alternators had a diode in em so if it was put on in reverse you would get no charge and the battery light would stay illuminated on the dash ? iam tired just finished nightshift so if this sounds like bollox then i appologise
