Hi, im new here. I tried searching for this but i cant find a definitive answer.

What pressure does a standard metro turbo fuel pump push out?

would it be enough to supply 15psi of turbo boost? i know you have to stay 4psi above your boost and all that.

Thanks.:(

Hi,
I'm sure there are people on here running more than 15psi on a standard metro pump.
It is an injection type pump after all, at stall they can usually push +4bar (60psi ish)
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Hi, like you I'm unsure of it's limit as regards to pressure but I run 20psi of boost and it supplies the fuel to the engine to support that.

Hi,
I should also point out that it's not just pressure, but volume that you need *wink*
As said above 20psi is no problem though :)
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Any efi pump wont create any pressure, until there is a restriction placed in front of it ( ie, the fuel pressure regulator. )

And given its an efi pump, that normally sees 45psi on a fuel injected car, a carb'ed metro isnt going to give it any hassles in terms of pressure, or in terms of flow ability..

On FSE's site they list the below as an equivalent to the metro pump. Although this would be for a pump without the balast resistor.
