Just need to think up an excuse to tell the wife.

I saw that K100 head, glad you got it for a song.

Dave, when I bought a K1100 head I did actually tell the missus it was for her LOL!!! it'll make the car more reliable and easy to drive i said

just say its a spare part for the car as there getting rare and it was only a tenner anyways.

Sounds good to me, the one I bought should be on its way shortly, £85 is a good price, mine was £150 inc postage.

As for the wife situation, I can highly recommend trading in for a younger model. Apart from the financial effects otherwise all is good.

Thai bride market is cheap at the mo.

seriously, you can tell her that it will save you both lots & lots in the long run as it`s far far more efficient & therfore will save you lots in fuel costs & more than cover it`s initial outlay

& obviously far far more reliable & now they`re getting harder to find, so they will obviously be worth plenty more later, so you can`t loose.
