Well after Richies post the other week on Scalextric, here is what I did last night-

My mum has been clearing out and found my old Technic Lego, so brought it for me under the reasoning that I have my own house now, so can store my own shit in my own loft!
But the draw of the Technic Lego was too great, and soon I had this built, and I actually quite enjoyed it!

So a blast from the past maybe for some, and for anyone with young kids, you really need to get them some of this!

Lego Technic is ace!!

The kits these days though are shit, it would seem the kids of today are not interested in spending hours building stuff, they have no imagination, so the kits are designed to reflect that, Shit!!

Bastard! I always wanted the red car, I can remember many hours gazing at it in the Argos catalogue!

Never fear, ebay to the rescue!

SWL of the forklift has been shown to be 3 stainless steel coasters at present.

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

I had a that black car, 4 wheel steering, v8 etc, was cool!

also had the JCB with all the pneumatic bits, that was the coolest i reckon!

Also ended up with the microprocesser controller as well, the first one. that was a laugh as it ran 4 motors to a program.

I loved my lego and technic.

I have the black f1 car sitting on my shelf in my room and have the control centre 2 with the space shuttle in bits in the box.

I used to love the stuff, was a member of the Lego owners club and i even came third in a national competition for elastic band powered cars!!

I also feel its the breeding ground of engineers of the future!!!
