Is This the right sequence



And then i pull the lock tab up ?

And also, these were with the pulley. not sure what there for or what they do.

the big metal piece thats to the right of the pulley in the first picture is meant to be between the belt pulley and the damper pulley. It is there to keep the belt in place. so its: belt pulley, that metalpiece, pulley, locktab and then the bolt. The upper shims in the second pic looks like shims to get the timing pulleys in line. Dont know about the second one.

So the shims are for the timing pulley.
To line it up with what. how do u do this? the big ring in the second pic come off the back of the pulley ? so not sure what its meant to do.. anyone else have this ? and please could someone explain about the shims on the pulley

Before you actually do your timing , you need to make sure that both cog drives are in line with one another with a straigh edge. Shim accordingly on the crank cog.

Its all in the haynes manual.

That big ring should be on the back of the pulley to keep the belt on the gear...
