the big metal piece thats to the right of the pulley in the first picture is meant to be between the belt pulley and the damper pulley. It is there to keep the belt in place. so its: belt pulley, that metalpiece, pulley, locktab and then the bolt. The upper shims in the second pic looks like shims to get the timing pulleys in line. Dont know about the second one. |

Before you actually do your timing , you need to make sure that both cog drives are in line with one another with a straigh edge. Shim accordingly on the crank cog.
