Just moved in to our new home and missing the internet.... using a neighbours wireless don't tell them... *wink* Anyone use Metronet as a provider as they seem very reasonable?

Also our garage doors are not the best fit, frames are loose and theres a 2 inch gap at the bottom.... Has anyone fitted roller doors?

Cheers, Mark

Hi,
I fitted a 14ft wide 4 section roller door on mine, never regretted it. Fully motorised with remote control too as I'm a lazy git!

Hi,
I use IDnet. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. They may not be the cheapest, but you don't get any shaping or throttling. If you have a problem, they answer the phone on the third ring and it gets sorted!
I'll refer you if you like?
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Hi Neil.
Was it easy? What make did you go for? motorised is the plan too. 4 section would be better from an insulation point of view too I would have thought, might go down that route.
cheers,
M

Used to be on Metronet, had some problems with them but not too bad. Switched because for the speed and usage I was needing it was too expensive. Switched to Tiscali and have had nowt but probs. May switch over to BT! (This is all ADSL btw)

There is no sense crying over every mistake- you just keep on trying til you run out of cake.

Mark,
I got my door from a local supplier but it's made by Martin in the US of A. Website is http://www.martindoor.com/
It was really easy to install, fasten the runners first and then drop each door section in one by one, bolt them together with the hinges and job done. The door is 2" thick too so you can fill the hollow section with insulation to help keep the garage warm. It came out only about 60 quid more than an equivalent size up and over which I reckon is money well spent.

Neil
