now then, i'm just scouting round for parts for my van project and was wondering if any body has used spax adjustables shocks, i've found a set from huddersfield spares

http://www.minispares-online.co.uk/?cat_id...63&prod_id=1163

i'd appreciate it if any ones used them to let me know what they're like, good/ bad experiences with them. they come with a set of hi - los which i'll be using and i'm off to tub the rear wheel arches and use sports pack arches and hopefully get them back wheels burried rite down there.
i've been reading up on coil overs as well and none of you really seem to rate them, so i've not really thought about using them anymore.

1976 mini van soon to be turbo'd (it doesn't have an engine at all at the moment)
1984 mini 25 street racer 1275gt engine (not much left of the ol' 25 tho)

Hi,
I've heard the Spax are a bit hard for road use, which I'm guessing is what you'll be using your van for?
KYB self adjusting shocks are the top recommendation for road use.
I'm running an estate and wouldn't consider coil overs as it would limit your weight carrying ability.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Maybe you should take your styling ideas off the French instead! "
