Three modifications on deck with parts acquired:
Electronic boost control - will map boost vs. RPM to keep torque on the edge of what the clutch can handle
Blowoff valve - with the downdraft weber, I'm thinking boost spikes are causing the idle circuit to overfuel on throttle lift
Water/Meth injection - paranoia item to ensure no detonation with increased boost.
With the Prologger wideband, it controls the water injection and the boost solenoid. You set a parameter for A/F ratio and boost such that if you go lean of target on high boost the contoller switches you to low boost.
Just gotta get time to install this stuff.

The same as last winter, and funnilly enough this summer, just plodding on with the minus, hoping to get it prepped for paint early next year, I really want it on wheels before we buy the house, then Ill be poor and have no time so probably wont progress much after that! LOL

Hi,
Actually do the Mini, instead of thinking / talking about it!
I think I've amassed enough parts to almost build 2!
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Find a Mrs

The amount of time I have been spending in hospitals lately, I have more chance of getting MRSA than an Mrs.

I have my Holden to screw together (getting painted next week!) and then finally build the long awaited turbo engine for the mini.

re build and sell my final mini, then clear out all the old parts and finally hand the garage back to my parents, and probably cry when its all done.

Then no doubt i'll get bored and buy another and start again :)

Trial the EFI on the NA 1275.
Fit the 998 Turbo.
Fit my christmas present (7.5" discs)
Fit 10" wheels.
Decide what to do with the K100 head.
Fit 12g295 to Axel's Mini 30.
Build a 1380 for Sturgeo.
Restore Mini Studio for Mylo.

Not a lot really.

because when i was younger, i had a good job for my age, and the bank were only too happy to say yes to anything i wanted. As a result i now have lots of debt and nothing to show for it, so instead of getting further in debt, im going to work my ass off to clear it!!
