as above really.

is there any difference with the head itself or is it just mainly the inlet?

i was just thinking as from what i see its injected from above the butterfly so there is aboviously no injector holes in the head.

also is there any difference in the blocks???

Hi,
The only thing different that springs to mind is the external oil transfer pipe to the oil filter. I think the rest is the same.
Heater take off port?

thats good to know. just that ive got an spi in my mini that im stripping now and was going to buy another head to get work done on to turbo it but if they are the only differences then i should be able to just get the work done on this one correct?

Hi,
Yes, if it's an SPi car then the heater hoses will already be in the right places.
You may want to consider drilling out the blank on the O/S of the head for the old type heater take off and improve water flow through the head.

this may make me sound stupid but drill it out and then take it to where? the heater or the rad? or somewhere that im not even thinking about?

I'd tee it into the heater pipe coimng from the stat housing, that way you won't upset anything.
